I loved my one bed pool villa. The room was located at the Jalan Bisma end of the resort and was very spacious and quiet. The secondary reception and parking area on Jl Bisma meant that it was much easier for my driver to pick me up and drop me off. It was also just a short walk to my favourite spa (Three Point) and restaurant (Ratatouille) on Jalan Bisma. And there is an excellent laundry service just a few doors up. The resort is really beautiful with lovely gardens. But be warned, it is sprawling and extends across the ravine (over a lovely stone bridge) so the rooms at the Bisma end of the resort could be challenging for anyone with mobility issues, so better stay at the front end, near main reception if that is the case as the paths are very steep. The staff are absolutely gorgeous. Everyone from the main front of house to the room staff were super friendly, helpful and friendly. I really loved staying here and, as a regular visitor to Ubud, I will definitely be coming back.

- Staff: Exceptionally accommodating, friendly, all smiles - Location: 10 to 15 min walk to the Ubud Market and Ubud Palace, 10 min walk to Monkey Forest. Lotsa charming shops and cafe/restaurants especially from the Monkey Forest Road entrance (the property has 2 entrances: one on the Monkey Forest Road, one on the Bisma Road. If you book a villa with pool, you’ll be closer to the Bisma Road entrance which you can check out from) - Villa compound: quite spacious, beautiful landscaping and built

We loved almost everything about Pertiwi but I would caution anyone with mobility issues to do your research before staying here. Accessibility was challenging due to the deep gully running through the centre of the property and there are no rails to keep you steady. The pool in the private villa was almost impossible for my friends to get in and out of as there wasn’t a pool ladder, only deep steps in the pool. The gardens, staff and overall location was fantastic.

We stayed in a very comfortable villa. The room was very nice with an open bathroom (if you are not nature friendly and having ocasional bugs is not your thing, maybe you should consider a closed bedroom). We had our private pool and that was a plus for the kids. The staff was extremely polite and genuinely nice. You can easily access Ubud centre. If you take the back road, specially by night, you can find some great restaurants like Chora or Café des Artistes.

Fantastic location, beautiful villas and grounds, we booked villas with private pools but the main pool looked great too. Great food at the on-site restaurant. Staff was always attentive and helpful. This place really is in the heart of everything, we walked to monkey forest in under ten minutes, and found new hidden restaurants for every meal.
